Tolerance to ‘Nail Household’ highlights social progress

A five-story building in Wenling has been standing in the middle of the road for four years refusing demolition

Due to dissatisfaction with the relocation compensation standards, a 5-story building stands abruptly in the middle of a half-constructed road near the rail station (see picture) in Wenling City, Zhejiang Province, and was called the "most stubborn Nail Household". Currently, construction of this section of the new road is underway while the "Nail Household" carries on its life as usual.
