Wang Xikui is a Party Member and social worker at Beijing West Road Community of Chengxi Neighborhood of Kaili City. She is a person with a strong sense of responsibility and sincere love, and helped a large number of drug addicts to get rid of the harms of the "white devil” and start a new life. Over the past few years, Wang Xikui helped 15 persons in applying for the minimum living allowance, 10 households in applying for low-rent housing subsidies, three households in applying and solving low-rent housing problems, seven persons in solving employment difficulties, and two persons in starting their own businesses.
The People’s Government of Tianzhu County helped and encouraged community-based detoxification and rehabilitation persons in enlivening family economy in order to guide them to a path of self-employment and independent job-hunting. In September 2011, the county distributed 200,000 yuan as funds for community-based rehabilitation work to grant specific amount of supportive funds for rehab persons to start their own businesses and look for jobs.
Tan Guangying and Luo Shouzheng are among the beneficiaries of the community-based rehabilitation work. Today, Tan Guangying owns more than 20mu of peach, plum, chestnut, and other economic fruit-bearing forest, cultivates more than 3,000 chicks and ducks, and earns annual revenue of more than 50,000 yuan. Luo Yongzheng put to use the over 80,000 yuan of loans and started a pig breeding field in Xinmin Village, herding 200 live pigs annually. Luo also taught himself on pig disease control techniques so that the survival rate of the pigs was up to 98 percent, achieving sales volume of more than 200,000 yuan per year and an annual income of more than 100,000 yuan.

The “Sunshine Enterprises” make every effort in the management works to weaken the addicts’ identity as "law breakers” and strengthen the awareness that they are “victims”, devote countless genuine love and care for them, and strive to create a healthy, positive, and beautiful atmosphere for production and life , to let the sunlight shine on every employee. Today, through the vigorous and healthy lifestyle, the rehab persons find the long-absent happiness, which is brimming on the face of everyone like blooming flowers. We have every reason to believe that the worldwide problem of difficulty in drug rehabilitation work can be effectively cracked through the continuously deepened advance of the “Sunshine Project” to let more and more families get rid of the harm of drugs, effectively promote the health and happiness of the broad masses, and promote social harmony, stability, and economic development.
As of August 31, 2012, Qiandongnan Prefecture has input a total of 2,376,800 yuan construction funds for the “Sunshine Project”, provided job placement for 1,087 drug rehab persons, including 38 persons subject to public welfare jobs, 40 persons subject to self-employment assistance, and 530 persons subject to independent job-hunting.
