BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Premier Wen Jiabao will attend the 11th prime ministers' meeting of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, and pay an official visit to the country from Dec. 4 to 5.

While making the announcement at a press briefing on Thursday, Vice Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping said that Kyrgyzstan is China's friendly neighbor, and political mutual trust between the two countries is increasingly strong.

China has maintained good cooperation and close communication and coordination on international and regional matters with Kyrgyzstan, Cheng said, adding that relations between the two countries face opportunities.

During his visit to Kyrgyzstan, Wen will meet with the president and prime minister of Kyrgyzstan to exchange views on further strengthening the mutual trust, Cheng said.

A series of documents concerning pragmatic cooperation will also be signed during his visit, according to the vice minister.

Wen's visit will help promote China-Kyrgyzstan friendly relations to a higher level, Cheng said.
