Airbus A320 is a medium-and-short-ranged commercial passenger plane. The series contains A318, A319, A329, A321 passenger jets and business jets ACJ. Airbus A320 was launched in 1988, and was the first commercial aircraft to have the digital fly-by-wire flight control system. As the end of 2011, Airbus had sold more than 5,000 planes in the A320 series, marking the plane the second most sold jet airliner after Boeing 737.
