BEIJING, July 9 (Xinhuanet) -- President and CEO of Asiana Airlines Yoon Young-doo has held a news conference on the airplane that crash-landed at San Francisco’s airport.
Yoon Young-doo first briefed the latest results from the investigation. He said a joint investigation has been going on between the airline and the US. And the company will make full efforts to complete to investigation. The CEO also mentioned all pilots on board had flying experience with the Boeing 777.
Yoon Young-doo added the accident is not a flight collision. He also made apologises to aircrash victims and their families. family members of the two Chinese victims who died in the Asiana plane crash, at the Seoul airport.
Mr. Ye, father of Chinese victim, said, "I am very dissatisfied with Asiana’s efforts. We’re meeting with this sort of problems at the very start, very dissatisfied."
Yoon Young-doo, president of Asiana Airlines, said, "I offer an apology to families shocked by the sudden accident."
Mr. Ye said, "Because we’re an airline company, we’re not a moving company, moving here and there."
The parents of Chinese victims will arrive at San Francisco on Tuesday afternoon. And we will keep you updated as more information comes in.
