Pushy parents turn matchmaking events into ‘marriage fairs’ (3)

People's Daily Online)  08:18, July 10, 2013

Two people chat during the blind date. Some pushy parents force their children to attend the face-to-face meetings.

Some parents even set up a booth in the park. In order to make their children's information more visible, some simply write down information on cardboards and stick the copies on the ground or hang the copies on tree branches. Some parents prefer to print it out, for the sake of beauty, and make it more like a resume, which includes the child’s age, height, education, job, salary, house and hukou.
