It is traditional for Chinese parents to expect their grown-up children to marry well, settle down and have a family. As more and more unmarried youngsters are too busy to look for their other half, their parents have to take up the responsibility to help them find the future spouse, which gives rise to many regular blind date corner in parks in major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. This kind of events has become a typical phenomenon across the country.
