Many technical difficulties of combat command are solved

The PLA's self-developed command and confrontation training support system has effectively resolved such problems as poor compatibility of military operation and training systems.

According to Gao Zhinian, director of the Combat Experimental Center under the Nanjing Army Command College of the PLA, the command and confrontation training support system has integrated such advanced technologies as modeling and simulation, and information exchange comprehensively, and solved the problems of troop units in using integrated command platform for command and confrontation training, and simulation, direction and adjusting of operation, therefore, it provides firm technical support for the confrontation drill.

The drill realizes transition from extensiveness to refinement

During the drill, the judgment and evaluation system accurately judged and evaluated the gains and losses in tactics application as well as the merits and demerits in command of the two sides. All the participating troop units agreed that the data analysis was very thorough and the result was convincing, which made them see the problems exposed in the drill and clarify their future training direction.

The participants are increasingly skilled with the integrated command platform

The drill was conducted based on a new-type integrated command platform, realizing paperless command in the whole course. The two participating sides skillfully manipulated the new platform, thus greatly improving the command efficiency.
