BEIJING, Nov. 28 (People's Daily Online) -- Premier Wen Jiabao will attend two prime ministers' meetings in Kyrgyzstan and Russia from Dec. 4 to 6, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei announced Wednesday.
Wen will attend the 11th prime ministers' meeting of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, and the 17th regular meeting between Chinese and Russian prime ministers in Moscow of Russia.
In addition to the two meetings, Wen will pay official visits to Kyrgyzstan and Russia respectively, Hong said.
During the 11th prime ministers' meeting, Wen will explain China's policy proposals on deepening cooperation within the SCO and enact concrete measures to enhance economic, people-to-people and cultural cooperation, the spokesman said.
Wen will also talk to Kyrgyzstan leaders on consolidating the friendly relationship with the neighboring country and strengthening mutual beneficial cooperation between the two nations, according to Hong.
During his visit to Russia, Wen will exchange views with leaders on further deepening China-Russia relations, expanding cooperation as well as talks on major international and regional issues of common concern.
The talks will look to push forward the development of the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination, Hong said.
