DAQAHLIYA, Egypt, July 24 (Xinhua) -- At least 11 people, mostly security personnel, were injured at an overnight blast targeting the security department headquarters in Mansoura city of Egypt's Daqahliya governorate, a security source told Xinhua.
"The injured people are about 11 so far and we're still in the process of counting and investigation," said brigadier-general Saeed Emara, head of Daqahliya criminal investigation department.
Meanwhile, Abdel-Wahhab Suleiman, the health ministry undersecretary at Daqahliya, told Xinhua that the people injured in the bombing were 12, including six security men and six civilians. "They all were sent to Mansoura Emergency Hospital," the health ministry official added.
On the other hand, some eyewitnesses reaffirmed that they have seen people killed in the bombing, yet no deaths have been officially reported yet.
