Make Pu'er city a real 'Coffee Capital of China'

Recently, Pu'er Municipal People's Government promoted Pu'er coffee by showing it in the pavilion and inviting guests to taste it aboard the ship, attracting the attention of Shanghai dignitaries from all walks of life and many media. When interviewed by media, Peng Yuanguo, Member of the Standing Committee of Pu'er Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of Pu'er Municipal People's Government, stressed repeatedly that Pu'er lives up to its name as the "Coffee Capital of China" and more importantly, Pu'er government will build the city into a "real coffee capital".

The unsurpassed ecological environment is the development advantage Pu'er enjoys, which makes Pu'er unable to be replaced by any other place in the world. This is a gift of nature and also the fruits of human protection. The fact that Pu'er comes out top in planting area, output and output value is closely related to its quality ecology. Quality ecology combined with influential enterprises brings about an "optimal place" for coffee production (Yu Qiuyu).

From the perspective of the whole industrial chain, the "Coffee Capital of China" now has its advantages concentrated on the planting environment. After all, Pu'er is still a planting capital of coffee and at the downstream of the coffee industrial chain. Therefore, it is necessary for Pu'er to further enhance the development level of its coffee industry and extend the industrial chain of Pu'er coffee. Only by doing so can Pu'er make breakthroughs based on its excellent performance today.
