Liang Qichao, a Chinese scholar and reformist during the late Qing Dynasty, like Interesting philosophy. "Only reading books could make me forget Mahjong, and only Mahjong could make me forget to read books." Liang said.
Huang Kan, a Chinese philologist, was found of delicacies and wine. One day, Huang went to restaurant with friends, he found his students in the next room speaking loudly which made him angry. The student heard about this and appologized as soon as he could. He told the waiter to take a fine wine and paid the bill for Huang which made Huang happy.
