Top Italian dancer to perform in Shanghai (2)

He said, "I think they are very very good now the Chinese artist, and Chinese dancer. I like very much the city and the energy and you know, Shanghai is becoming more and more important in the world. It's like the biggest center of the world, and I think it will become even more bigger in the culture way. So I think, for me, it's important to come here and to present myself and my work in the city."

Bolle says he hopes working with local artists can bring something unique to a city where ballet is already popular. International ballet companies from San Francisco and Stuttgart have appeared here.

Italy's Consul General says cultural exchanges between Shanghai and Italy are increasing, with at least 20 top performers and teams from Italy coming here every year.
