Zhang Min:

(Born in December 1973, Zhang Min went to Dongguan in Guangdong Province for part-time jobs after graduated from junior middle school in 1989. She was exposed to drugs during socialization with friends, and was sent to the compulsory drug treatment center for three times. Later, with the calling of her family, concern of the government, and care from people of insight in the society, Zhang Min got rid of drugs and started to work in the “Sunshine Home” in Qingzhen City in Guiyang. She was named an Advanced Employee of “Sunshine Home” in Qingzhen City in 2011, and named by the Provincial Narcotics Control Commission as an Excellent Employee of “Sunshine Enterprise” in June 2012.)

Thankful words:

The contamination of drugs left me an imprint of memories unbearable to recall and even more painful trying to forget.

On my way of life, there was a period of time unbearable to recall and more painful trying to forget. That is the period when I was contaminated by drugs. It led me into the darkness for a long time. But during the year in the “Sunshine Home”, the management staff always cares about us in all matters whether big or small, and allows me to feel the warmth of the sunshine and see the hope of life just as the name “Sunshine Home” indicates.
