China's annual express delivery volume has topped 150 bln for first time.

On Nov. 17, 2024, China saw its express delivery volume in 2024 surpass the 150-billion-parcel mark for the first time, setting a new record.

150 billion parcels, if lined up end to end, could make 50 round trips from the Earth to the Moon. These parcels are equivalent to nearly 80 percent of the total global express parcel volume in 2022. Despite the high base, China's express delivery business maintains high growth, with a growth rate more than three times the global average, rightfully earning the title of the global express parcel market's "power source" and "stabilizer."

Small parcels connect thousands of cities and industries, linking online and offline sectors, and serving as the "capillaries" of economic operations. Last year, China's express delivery industry supported cross-border e-commerce exports of 1.83 trillion yuan, effectively promoting the "sailing abroad" of Chinese manufacturing.150 billion parcels embody the vibrant vitality of China's economy.
