According to the statistics released by the State Statistics Bureau on February 24, the total number of domestic tourists reached 3.3 billion in 2013, a growth of 10.3 percent compared with the previous year; and the domestic tourist income reached 2.6 trillion yuan (426.4 billion USD) in 2013, up 15.7 percent from 2013.
