Xi's special envoy will attend Kenyan presidential inauguration

BEIJING, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Zhang Baowen, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, will attend the inauguration ceremony for Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta on April 9.

Zhang will attend the event as the special envoy of President Xi Jinping, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said at a daily press briefing on Monday.
