ZHENGZHOU, June 11 (Xinhua) -- Central China's Henan Province sanctioned 20 environmental assessment agencies over frauds, local environmental protection authorities said Tuesday.
The authorities said some evaluated projects they had no qualification for, some presented false conclusions, and some deliberately relaxed assessing procedures.
Six of the 20 agencies were barred from conducting businesses in Henan, and other four were suspended.
