BEIJING, April 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale jolted near Medog county in Tibet Autonomous Region at 4:34 p.m. Beijing Time Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter was initially determined to be at 28.7 degrees north latitude and 95.2 degrees east longitude.
