Man infected with H7N9 receives treatment in Anhui

The 55-year-old male patient, surnamed Li, once worked at a local live poultry stall. He was diagnosed positive of the H7N9 avian influenza virus on Sunday. As of 6 p.m. on Monday, China reported 24 cases of human infection with the lesser-known H7N9 bird flu virus, including 11 in Shanghai Municipality, eight in Jiangsu Province, three in Zhejiang Province and two in Anhui Province.
