A man died last night after falling from the Terminal 2 building of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, the Xinmin Evening News reported.
A witness said a man plunged from a height of more than 10 meters high and lay motionless in a pool of blood at an exit leading to Metro Line 2. The tragedy scared many passengers, he added.
Airport staff and guards soon cordoned off the area and covered the man's body with a tent. Police and medics arrived but found the man already dead.
Police said the man's identity and the cause of his death are still under investigation.
