10 years for airport thief

A Beijing airport staff member was sentenced to 10 years in jail for theft at Chaoyang district court Sunday morning, the Legal Mirror reported Sunday.

The 31-year-old staff member, surnamed Yang, stole articles from December 2011 to February this year, including cash and high-priced cigarettes worth at least 120,000 yuan ($19,248) from passengers' luggage that was unlocked.
