BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Guangming) -- China's first bonded cultural center, Beijing Dashanzi cultural center, was founded at 798 Art Zone in Beijing on Nov. 4, 2012. The cultural bonded center provides a convenient and favorable "green channel" for the display and exchange of overseas artworks.

Gan Rongkun, chief of Beijing Customs, said that overseas cultural relics and artworks could be imported to China through the cultural bonded center at low cost. And the export cost of cultural and creative products from the cultural bonded center could be reduced.

Zhou Maofei, chairman of State-Owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, pointed out that the first cultural bonded center will promote Chinese culture's development and prosperity.
