The Didier Drogba-Shanghai Shenhua drama is far from over after the Chinese Football Association refused to give a clearance to the Ivorian striker following a review of his contract with Shenhua last Friday.
The CFA said there is not enough evidence to show that Shenhua owed Drogba his salary. Turkish club Galatasaray, which signed Drogba last week, may turn to FIFA. But the striker will not be able to play for the it until FIFA issues a temporary transfer clearance.
