Haima Automobile Group Co announced Monday that the board of directors received the resignation of Jing Zhu, Haima's chairman. Jing still holds his position as the car company's secretary of Party committee.
Jing joined Haima in 1988 as one of the founders. He has been the chairman and secretary of Party committee since December 2004. Before the resignation, Jing, holding 35.16 percent stock, was the actual controller of Haima.
Earlier reports said that the resignation would not impair the development strategy of Haima because Jing did not participate in internal business often. His departure was part of a normal personnel transfer, and Haima will soon announce his successor.
