Chinese stocks open lower Friday

BEIJING, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,026.56, down 3.73 points, or 0.18 percent, from the previous close.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,169.67, down 16.39 points, or 0.2 percent.
