The iPad mini went on sale in the United States and Hong Kong last Friday, and goods from Hong Kong started coming out in Zhongguancun market the next day. The minimum configuration of black version (16GB wifi) is priced at about 3300 yuan, 200 yuan cheaper than the white one. The same configuration is sold at 2,588 Hong Kong dollars (about 2085 yuan) in Apple stores in Hong Kong.

According to the sellers at Zhongguancun, the mainstream price of iPad mini has dropped to 3,000 yuan. In their view, the iPad fever has decreased obviously, as production upgrade is too fast.

Actually, when iPad mini hit the market last Friday, the Apple fans were far less enthusiastic than before.
