CAIRO, July 22 (Xinhua) -- Egypt's interim President Adli Mansour, in a televised speech on Monday evening, called for reconciliation among all Egyptians and a new beginning to establish the future of the country.
"We want to open a new page, free of prejudice, hatred and division," said Mansour on the occasion of the national celebration of July 23, 1952 Revolution that marked the end of royal rule in Egypt and turned the country into a republic.
"It's time for establishing a nation based on reconciliation with the past for the sake of the future," the interim president added.
