S. Korea, DPRK agree to hold another working-level talks on July 15

SEOUL, July 10 (Xinhua) -- South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) agreed Wednesday to hold the third round of working-level talks on July 15 at the joint industrial park in DPRK's border town of Kaesong, local broadcaster YTN reported.

Seoul and Pyongyang failed to reach any agreement during the follow-up working-level talks held Wednesday at the Kaesong industrial zone, Yonhap News Agency reported, citing an official at the Ministry of Unification.

Seoul and Pyongyang held three rounds of top-delegate talks, which ended at 5:44 p.m. local time, after having a plenary session for 25 minutes in the morning at the joint industrial park.

"The South and the North (DPRK) sufficiently explained each other's stance over the proposed issues at this talks," Suh Ho, Seoul's top delegate and director-general of the Unification Ministry's inter-Korean district support directorate, said at a briefing at Kaesong after ending the dialogue.

Suh noted that both sides closed the talks with the promise to meet again after deeply reviewing each other's stance.
