6 troops killed in checkpost attack in Peshawar, NW Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, July 3 (Xinhua) -- At least six troops were killed, ten injured and three others went missing when a large group of militants stormed a checkpost in Pakistan's northwest city of Peshawar early Wednesday morning, reported local media ARY.

Ten militants were also killed in the clashes, said local media.
