KIEV, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- Six students from Ukraine's Dnepropetrovsk National University have designed a robotics system for bed making, local media said Thursday.

"This is a real project, not fiction," project manager Anastasia Rudenko was quoted by Segodnya newspaper as saying.

The robot, which is able to make the bed, change bedclothes and remove stains from bed sheets, was recognized as the winner at the Student Research Conference Business Week-2012 in Paris, she said.

Rudenko also expected that the invention could go into mass production soon at the price of 200 U.S. dollars to 800 dollars depending on its characteristics.

Once the robot is put to use, it will help people maintain order at home and save time for sleep in the morning.
