World Environment Day celebrated worldwide (14)

Lake Suchitlan, which was formed because of the contruction of a hydroelectric plant in 1973, houses different species of flora and fauna in its surroundings. On every June 5, the "World Environment Day" is celebrated worldwide, which was established by the United Nations (UN) in order to create awareness and sensitize the public opinion in relation to environmental themes, according to local press.
