World Environment Day celebrated worldwide (12)

Lake Guija, which possesses a total extension of 42 square kilometers and is located on the border between Guatemala and El Salvador, is visited by hundreds of national tourists every year. On every June 5, the "World Environment Day" is celebrated worldwide, which was established by the United Nations (UN) in order to create awareness and sensitize the public opinion in relation to environmental themes, according to local press.
