The ungainly dance of Shinzo Abe (2)

For the Japanese people, the problems in front of them are a sluggish economy, a weak confidence and retreated passion. Consequently, as the political leader of Japan, he should bring freshness for the nationals and seek new growth point for the domestic economy.

Given the rise of China and the sovereignty disputes with China over the Diaoyu Islands and the continental shelf of the East China Sea, Japan is increasingly feeling of a willing spirit but a weak flesh. Japan can't do without the Chinese market, and China's fast development has made Japan difficult to adapt to the changes psychologically and adjust its geopolitical strategies.

The relinquishment of the U.S., China's mistakes and the restoring of the nationals' confidence must be what Abe is painstakingly looking forward to. However this "wish" won't come easy with wishful thinking alone. As a result, he has no other ways but to continue dancing at loose ends without cheers.
