Foreign visitors enjoy visa-free entry in 72 hours (2)

In order to ensure a smooth implementation of the policy, the frontier inspection station at Shanghai airports set up special channels and notice boards in advance, and adopted the method of professional consultations, dedicated channels and special transactions to make every eligible tourist smoothly enter China.

The frontier inspection station also opened automated passageway for Hong Kong and Macao visitors and sent about 100 volunteers who can speak foreign languages to provide service, guaranteeing smooth entry and exit including the 72-hour transit visa-free visitors.

In order to better serve the international transfer passengers, China Eastern Airlines adjusted and optimized the ground services relevant to the 72-hours transit visa-free policy in accordance with the actual situation of Pudong and Hongqiao Airports, launching a series of favorable products including hotel reservation, car rental and one-day tour around Shanghai.
