"I just came to Changchun this year and it is the first time I saw snow. Several companions and I had great fun the whole afternoon. We made snowmen and had snowball fights. We had so much fun in it!" Nguyen Nam, an international student from Vietnam described to the reporter with excitement.

Binet (nickname) from Nepal is Learning Department minister of International Students’ Union at Norman Bethune College of Medicine Jilin University. He always wears two pairs of socks, two pairs of gloves, thermal underwear and thick cotton-padded clothes when he goes out these days in such a cold weather. Before he came to Changchun, he studied language for one year in Tianjin, a city in the northern part of China where winter is not very cold.

He added, "Winter in Tianjin is not as cold as here! Whenever in such a cold weather, I will remind those international students who just came to the Changchun to wear more warm clothing and be careful when going outside. The ice on the sidewalk is not melted throughout the winter, so you must be careful while walking on it.”
