BEIJING, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- Senior Chinese official He Lifeng met with French President's Diplomatic Counselor Emmanuel Bonne in Beijing on Sunday.
The two sides had practical and constructive exchanges on the implementation of the outcomes of the ninth China-France High-Level Economic and Financial Dialogue.
He, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and director of the Office of the Central Commission for Financial and Economic Affairs, said that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-France relations have maintained a high level of development.
Next year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and France. China is ready to take this opportunity with France to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and push for more tangible results in bilateral economic and trade cooperation, He said.
Bonne said France is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China in economy, trade, finance and other fields to promote the continuous development of France-China relations.
