Lotus flower with two receptacles found in SW China's Yunnan

A wild pink lotus flower with two carpellary receptacles was captured by photographers at the Puzhehei scenic area in Qiubei county, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao autonomous prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province on June 28.
The blooming season of rare varieties of wild versicolor lotus flowers at the scenic spot lasts from late May until the middle of September every year.
In the past, twin lotus flowers on one stalk, lotus flowers with two colors, lotus flowers with three colors, twin lotus flowers with two colors, and twin lotus flowers with three colors, were spotted at the scenic area.
