More than 200 tourists from south China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region enjoyed a cruise down Jiuqu river in Tianjiu township, Ganzhou city, east China's Jiangxi Province on May 31, marveling at the beautiful natural scenery along the river.
In recent years, Dingnan county has vigorously promoted the construction of healthcare-oriented scenic spots for "all-for-one" tourism, aiming to become the "backyard garden" of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a new healthcare resort, and one of the most popular destinations for micro vacations.
It has made great efforts to improve the environment of its urban areas, make sure every township has a scenic spot, tap into its historical sites, and boost green tourism. The efforts have led to fruitful results.
During the May Day holiday this year, the county received 297,800 visits and grossed tourism revenue of 312.7 million yuan ($44.2 million).
