Posters: popular tourist attractions in China
May 19 this year marks the 13th National Tourism Day in China. Under the theme of “Beautiful China, Happy Journey”, online and offline tourism activities are being held across the country from May 1 to 31 to observe the National Tourism Day.
China is witnessing a travel boom during this year's five-day May Day holiday. According to statistics released by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MCT), domestic trips during the holiday this year jumped 70.83 percent year on year, and tourism revenue soared 128.9 percent from a year ago. Below are six domestic tourist attractions that are among the top choices for tourists in China during the holiday.
