Farmers have been busy harvesting chrysanthemums recently in Yaoshang village, Sanjia town, Dongfang city, south China's Hainan Province.
The town is promoting a business mode that connects chrysanthemum cooperative bases with farmers, and is also building chrysanthemum industry bases by providing financial support and technical guidance, helping boost sales.
Currently, the town has planted chrysanthemums on 5,000 mu (about 333.33 hectares) of land. The town's chrysanthemums are mainly sold to Japan, South Korea, and cities across China.
At the same time as making the villages in the town more beautiful, they are also a cash cow for local growers.
