A smart dump truck management platform is employed by the urban management department of Haigang District, Qinhuangdao, north China's Hebei province in April 2020. The platform, powered by the Beidou Navigation Satellite System, is able to monitor over 500 dump trucks of some 40 relevant enterprises in the district 24 hours a day.
