Old Summer Palace has new members!

Good news from the Old Summer Palace: a black swan family welcomed some new members during the Winter Solstice (Dongzhi), with the baby swans having some close interactions with their mother. Two of them were born on Dec. 21, while the other four were born on the 22nd, coinciding with the “Winter Solstice (Dongzhi)”, prompting many swan lovers who had come out to capture pictures of them to call them “Dongzhi". The mother swan patiently taught her children, encouraging them to take their first steps in life. The chicks managed to muster up their courage and walk nervously on a haystack.
