Regarded as one of China's great cultural treasures, Quanzhou marionettes can trace their origins back 2,000 years to the Qin & Han Dynasties. The acrobatic pageantry accompanied by music and singing depicts famous Chinese legends and folktales. Puppeteers must train for many years to master their art.
