China releases emergency water supply for drought-hit Mekong countries (3)

Stairs and vegetable fields are partially submerged at the lower reaches of Lancang River in southwest China's Yunnan Province, March 20, 2016. In order to help alleviate drought in Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, China releases emergency water supply from Jinghong Hydropower Station to downstream Mekong River from March 15 to April 10.
