Boy saved after falling out of car on busy highway

A screenshot showing a toddler rolling out the back of a van driving on a busy highway recently triggered a lot of attention. Thanks to warm-hearted passers-by, the 2-year-old boy was saved.

According to the video, a toddler tumbled out the back of a minivan on a busy highway in Suzhou, but the vehicle continued down the road because the driver did not notice what had happened.

The little boy immediately popped up and trotted in the direction of the disappearing vehicle.

Luckily, another driver picked the boy up and returned him safely to his grandfather, who was the driver of the minivan.

The warm-hearted rescuer and his companion said that they worried about the safety of the boy since traffic on the highway was heavy at the time.

The boy’s grandfather explained that the van’s door was damaged, and couldn’t be properly locked. He expressed his gratitude to the rescuers, adding that it was very fortunate the boy was not injured.
