A Coast Guard patrol ship was put into service on the morning of Jan. 29, 2016 in east China's Zhejiang province.
The Coast Guard 33103 is over 90 meters in length with more than 1,600 tons of full load displacement. The ship can sail at a speed of more than 20 knots. Under normal displacement and full load displacement circumstance, the ship can resist strong gale.
At the Level 4 sea condition, the ship can meet the requirement for helicopter landing. It can sail safely under Level 7 sea condition, and the endurance reaches over 40 days.
The ship is equipped with advanced devices including photoelectric forensics system, speed boat for law enforcement, helicopter landing pad, communication and navigation, tracking and monitoring devices.
The Coast Guard 33103 can improve maritime security, law enforcement under severe weather condition and abilities to crack down on illegal and criminal activities like smuggling and robbery.
