Workers of the China giant panda protection and research center captured panda Huajiao on Nov. 17, 2015, and prepare her for her “wild nature journey” later.
According to the center, Huajiao has already passed the wildness training and she is now in very good health condition, ready to be set free to the national nature reserve in Ya’an, Sichuan Province on Nov. 19, 2015. Huajiao is the fifth panda which will be sent back to nature.
Around 7 a.m., workers in camouflage clothing came to the cabin at Wolong national nature reserve and led Huajiao to an adapting zone. After half an hour of waiting, Huajiao entered the adapting zone. Another five minutes later, Huajiao was led to the cage and transferred to the quarantine house at the base. One day later, she will be sent back to the nature.
