Pindasan, a Nanjing restaurant famous for its roasted meat and pastries will soon open a branch in Los Angeles. The boss of the restaurant told the reporter that he has high hopes when it comes to selling authentic Nanjing soup dumplings to the Americans.
The soup dumplings of the restaurant are meticulously made, with soft thin skin, a light soup and delicious meat stuffing made with lean pork.
The boss and the chef of the restaurant are also the authors of "Production Standards of Nanyang Soup Dumplings" and "Quality Control Standards of Nanyang Soup Dumplings", no wonder they can guarantee that the taste of soup dumplings made in different branches are exactly the same. Each soup dumpling has 21 pleats and the steaming time is controlled to within seconds.
However, in the Los Angeles branch, staff will not be able to serve the soup dumplings to customers as soon as they are steamed, because according to U.S. law, restaurants are not allowed to bring the customer very hot food. So the soup dumplings will be allowed to cool and served when their temperature is below 45 degrees Celsius. It will be a real problem to keep the flavor of the soup dumpling when it is not sufficiently hot.
