On Jan. 19, 2015, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People´s Republic of China (MOST) published the list of the 6th batch national technology transfer demonstration institutes. Xi’an CAS Optics and Precision Mechanics Investment Holding Co., Ltd., XIOPM (“Xi’an CAS Holding Company”) stood up to strict appraisal and ranked among the national technology transfer demonstration institutes.

Up to now, the scientific and technological entrepreneurship incubation service platform created by Xi’an CAS Holding Company has transferred and transformed more than 20 hi-tech projects, incubated 49 hi-tech enterprises, absorbed over 700 million social investment in total and created more than 2,000 jobs, and preliminarily formed optoelectronic integrated circuit chip industrial cluster, high-end laser equipment and manufacture industrial cluster as well as medical health industrial cluster, etc.

It is reported that the 6th batch national technology transfer demonstration institutes approved by MOST totals 84 units, and 455 units accredited in total till now, of which 21 units come from Shaanxi Province.
